The front page begins with an article headed: "America" with a Boston dateline. It includes: "...report we had lately of some cattle being taken on their way to Crown Point is without foundation...the Indians had waylaid them, but while they were preparing to fall on the guard, a party came from Crown Point...whereby the enemy were disappointed in their design...Co Haviland commands at Crown Point; Major Rogers with his Rangers were there..." and more, taking half of the first column.
Page 5 has a report Louisburg, Nova Scotia, noting: "...arrived here...from Philadelphia, with provision for the garrison & on the 20th was taken into the government's service. As this place is to be demolished, we are to carry all the artillery & stores to Halifax...The fleet with the army on board for Quebec has been detained here 14 days...". Eight pages, 8 bay 11 inches, rubbing to front page folds, nice condition.
